COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This 4-hour interactive course provides an in-depth overview of California’s Community Care Licensing (CCL) framework and the regulatory foundations established under Title 22 and the California Health and Safety Code.
Participants will gain a working knowledge of essential terms and legal mandates, with a special emphasis on understanding and applying the concepts of Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs), emphasizing their importance in assessing functional independence and quality of life among older adults.
CLASS RESCHEDULE POLICY
Classes require at least 10 students to proceed as scheduled. If classes do not meet the minimum attendance policy, they will be rescheduled later, and all students will be informed before the class.
